The @one Alliance, of which Grontmij is part of,  triumphed at the Anglian Water ‘We Love What You Do Awards’, on 7th July. The team earned an impressive four awards:

•  Make it Safe, Make it Home Award (Supplier) - the Work Safely Induction Team
This team was rewarded for developing a ‘Work Safely’ induction programme, the first of its kind in the industry, getting more than 1300 people through the two day induction, giving them a safety passport to work on Alliance sites.

• Drop CO2 (Embodied Carbon) Award (Supplier) - the Sustainability in Design Initiative Team

The Alliance was recognised for helping to reduce embodied carbon throughout project planning, design, build and delivery and for orchestrating a cultural shift in approaches to carbon across the Alliance.

• Right First Time, Zero Waste Award (Supplier) - the Waste Initiative Team and the Product Based Delivery Team
The team was commended for implementing processes to challenge design and construction in order to eliminate waste in the Alliance in AMP5.

• Supplier of the Year Award
The Alliance was nominated for its industry-leading work in establishing standard products, minimising waste, and focusing on driving Capex and Opex efficiencies.

The ‘We Love What You Do Awards’ recognise the efforts of Anglian Water employees and suppliers over the past 12 months.
