CSR in Grontmij

In Grontmij, we believe our corporate social responsibility (CSR) must include our approach and behaviour towards the challenges of sustainability. The consistent embedding of CSR and sustainability into all our activities is perhaps the best reflection of who we are as an organisation. We aim to remain at the forefront of CSR and sustainability not only through our innovative design and consultancy, but also in how we work internally.

Every day, we support our clients in the delivery of their own sustainability goals and we help them show leadership in the creation of sustainable and resilient environments as well as improving our own performance as employers and members of our local societies. In leading by example, we are convinced we benefit all stakeholders – customers, shareholders, employees and suppliers. 

CSR reporting

Our CSR report has been prepared to the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative. This year we have declared a reporting level of B+(GRI checked). The key performance indicators for the UK & Ireland region are shown here. Our full report is web based and can be visited here.

Continually improving

We have also signed up to 10:10; a scheme where signatories commit to reducing their carbon emissions by 10% during 2010.
