Landscape architecure for waterside high-density scheme

The main spine of the site runs parallel with the waterway/rail lines and a fall of 8m across the site has been used to create two levels of underground parking.  A compromise was found between housing density, building mass and public space, which is a key component of the development.

Creating space outdoors

A linear urban park is being created that will encompass 14 outdoor ‘rooms’, each with its own individual character. Pedestrians are encouraged and paths run the full length of the site from the waterworks, along the watercourse and under the railway to Wood Green.

Integrating communities

Other walkways connect to Alexandra Palace helping to integrate with existing communities. A central paved plaza forms a focal point for activity and a middle ground between green spaces.
