EC Harris’ need was for a new working environment fostering greater interaction and flexibility at its International Headquarters at Kings’ Cross. A completion time of five months, meant Grontmij’s flexibility and experience in working closely with contractors was vital.
The complex part refurbishment part new build existing building was built to a Cat. A standard. Grontmij was responsible for upgrading mechanical, electrical and security designs to meet EC Harris’ overall requirements.
Grontmij’s proactive approach ensured that any issues were overcome at an early stage and not at the high risk period preceding project hand over. Post completion Grontmij continued to offer advice and expertise after hand over; providing solutions to any issues that have occurred during occupation.
