At 328m, the tower is one of the tallest structures in Dubai with 25 office floors and three floors comprising restaurant, health club and swimming pool. The upper 50 floors provide 520 apartments with 12 large duplex and triplex penthouses, the largest of which have swimming pools.
Grontmij was appointed as the building services design consultant. Duties included mechanical, electrical, vertical transportation, public health and fire fighting. With this project Grontmij established the need for a BREEAM International scheme, and then assisted the BRE with the development of this scheme.
