Geoffrey Palmer

Geoffrey joined Grontmij after graduating from the University of Bath in 1987. Having gained extensive design and management experience in several complex projects in the UK he was made an associate of the firm.

In 1994 Geoffrey moved to Hong Kong to run a new joint venture operation. A significant proportion of work undertaken was in the university and infrastructure sector with numerous complex projects for both the University of Hong Kong, the City University and airport at Chep Lap Kok. From Hong Kong Geoffrey delivered several projects for international clients in China.

Geoffrey returned to the UK in 2000 and had wide ranging responsibilities within one of the UK’s integrated design groups. He has strong team building and management skills along with an inherent understanding of client project requirements built from a diverse range of successfully completed commissions.

In 2009 Geoffrey Palmer acceded to director of building services and represents the UK for planning and design at a group level.
