Mark joined Grontmij in 2001 after graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in fire engineering. Since then, he has developed rapidly, proving to be a highly effective and capable engineer.

Now divisional associate, Mark is responsible for providing fire-engineering solutions for every type and size of development; from high rise commercial offices to historic listed buildings. Mark has also gained experience of fire regulations overseas, in particular, American and Middle Eastern codes of practice.

Mark’s depth of knowledge and experience has allowed him to consistently deliver creative and innovative solutions that employ current technologies, but with an awareness of future trends and their likely impact on the building and its systems. Mark has been able to forge excellent links with fire and building control officers.
