Boots decided to refurbish existing offices to create new office space adjacent to the original building with an additional building linking the two.
The existing building has been fully refurbished with a new central plant and on-floor distribution systems. The new building and link building have been designed to harmonise with the original building and meet English Heritage requirements. Features include bespoke lighting designed to compliment the theme of the existing building, chilled ceilings & displacement ventilation, as well as external solar shading and baffles in atrium to keep energy usage low.
