Outline of role
We are looking for a Project Electrical Engineer to lead teams working on demanding large-scale projects both in the UK and overseas. Working closely with clients, architects and other members of the professional team you will take an active role in establishing the brief of projects, leading design and developing potential solutions in order to assist in delivering high quality projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
You will represent the company in client meetings, lead negotiations with the local authorities and undertake site visits/inspections. You will also be required to write detailed reports and specifications.
To succeed in this role you should be proactive and able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and limited technical support.
Qualifications required
Master of Engineering (MEng)
Chartered or near Chartered Status
Experience required
Suitable candidates will be experienced electrical engineers who have excellent design skills and a track record in the successful management of multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
Experience of large scale commercial fit out projects for corporate clients would be an advantage.
