Our nuclear capabilities
Our expertise covers both operational and decommissioning type safety cases. We also have the capability to act as checkers / verifiers and peer reviewers of safety case submissions. There are increasingly stringent regulatory requirements imposed on licensees of nuclear facilities. It is the duty of the licensee to demonstrate to the industry regulator(s) that all operations are safely conducted and managed throughout the lifecycle of a facility.
This requires that the risk to workers, the public, the environment and to the wellbeing of future generations is reduced to as low as reasonably practicable. Our safety case team of engineers has a comprehensive understanding of all relevant UK and EU legislation, which is necessary for the production of robust safety cases.
