Potential to produce 16,280 MWh per month
A feasibility study was carried out and a report produced for a crop digestion system for Severn Trent Water.
The system has the potential to be fuelled by 37,050 tonnes per annum of feedstock, which would generate 16,820 MWh.annum electrical output at 100% availability. The project involved collaboration between experts from Grontmij’s UK and Swedish offices.
