Strong Track record
We are able to provide the necessary diverse skills base from in-house resources to allow successful delivery; including remediation technology specialists, risk assessment, remedial strategy design, geotechnical engineers, site supervision, verification, hydrogeologists, waste assessment and handling specialists, chemists, ecologists, project and contract managers.
Grontmij can deliver a strong integrated approach in the design of our remediation schemes, providing highly sustainable, innovative and cost-effective works.
Future development requirements, existing land constraints, planning, managing ground risk issues, regulator and client requirements matters are all embedded at an early stage as part of optimising the design process, ensuring that the optimum cost effective and sustainable solution will be delivered.
Wide Experience and Industry Recognition
We are able to work on all sizes of projects, providing services direct to external clients and also to internal clients as part of multi-disciplinary engineering delivery.
Several of our projects have been recognised and have received awards from leading industry institutions (Brownfield Briefing and Ground Engineering) for innovation, sustainability and stakeholder management.
We have recently been responsible for the successful delivery of some of the largest remediation projects in the UK (for example Remediation of the 2014 Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village) and we remain one of the longest serving Consultants on two key UK Contaminated Land Frameworks (National Grid Property and Defence Estates).
We believe that with strong team work from across the Grontmij Group and working closely with the stakeholders, contractors and regulators to effectively manage the critical path delivery, is the best way to ensure successful project delivery. Project Folio's
