Grontmij was commissioned by P & O Developments, as environmental and contaminated land advisors for the management and remediation of a 34Ha site in Grimsby.
Respecting sensitive land
A major part of site was historically landfilled and the site is particularly sensitive with respect to groundwater and ground gas risk. The site includes proposed mixed residential and retail/commercial land and Country Park.
The site is currently under construction with access roads and infrastructure completed and Phase 3 of the development about to commence.
