Grontmij prepared concept designs and landscape masterplan at feasibility stage and was then appointed to develop the designs through to planning and construction.

The landscape approach aims to create a coherent, legible setting for the college buildings with a pleasant green frontage including existing protected trees, which contributes positively to the urban context. The design will provide attractive, intuitive pedestrian routes with generous provision for disabled students and car parking away from entrances and pedestrian areas.
