The site comprises part completed land fill, part existing natural environment and part built area in the form of an Olympic style training centre. The existing wooded hills, the repaired landscape and sporting theme of the training centre led to the concept of a sustainable sport and leisure facility, whereby nature, people and sports are brought together within a sustainable environment.

To realise the commercial opportunities of the landfill, an indoor ski centre is proposed as the focus of the whole masterplan. Building on the existing context a hierarchy of different levels of activity and facilities are proposed.
