Congress Offshore Wind Energy in the Netherlands

The first congress on offshore wind farms in the Dutch North Sea will take place in Egmond aan Zee.
The Dutch North Sea is a ‘hot spot’ for wind energy developers. Major European energy companies and developers are interested in constructing offshore wind farms here.

Grontmij is head sponsor of this congress will be present with a stand. Additonally Grontmij will also be represented with two speakers, namely Marc Kreft (Manager Wind Energy, Grontmij in the Netherlands) and Per Volund (Chief Advisor Wind Energy, Grontmij in Denmark). Per Volund will give a presentation on: 'Offshore Foundation in Concrete for Dutch Waters'. Marc Kreft will be team captain during the program item 'Round the Table Conversations'.
Program
The program covers subjects such as: Government policy, future of the Dutch North Sea after 2020, effects of wind turbines on the ecology, the position of wind energy in sustainable energy scenarios, a European approach, international cooperation etc.
