The leading landscape architecture’s London based team will transfer to new offices at York Way, in what is recognised as a significant new cultural and creative hub within Regent Quarter. The new location is already home to a multitude of architects, cost consultancies and other design practices, enabling the team to develop greater synergies and interaction between design partners and clients, near to the King’s Cross redevelopment.
Adrian Judd, technical director of landscape architecture at Grontmij, said: “The move to a new studio space will bring us closer to our London-based clients, thus furthering good working relationships. Working in close proximity to other design partners means we are able to work collaboratively, and therefore deliver efficiencies and value to our clients, which is an integral part of our approach.
The new offices are in a central location, offering excellent tube and train links, meaning that we are better connected and more accessible. The converted warehouse offices provide a creative and inspiring environment to work in and are welcoming surroundings for our clients and design team colleagues.”
Following Whitelaw Turkington’s acquisition by Grontmij in 2008 and rebrand to Grontmij in 2011, the landscape architects have bolstered their already strong reputation through the delivery of engaging and award winning design projects, including the Southend-on-Sea City Beach scheme, Devonshire Square and South Dalmarnock’s intregrated urban infrastructure.
The team move into the new offices on Friday 13 April at 36-40 York Way, London, N1 9AB.
Grontmij’s landscape architects continue to operate in other offices in Leeds, Edinburgh, Bristol and Glasgow, forming part of Grontmij’s wider network of offices across the UK.
