18 Mar 2010 | Grontmij renews nuclear framework with RSRL

Grontmij has been successfully appointed on a framework contract to provide a range of Peer Review support services to Research Sites Restoration Limited (RSRL).

The framework is for up to three years in duration renewable in 12 months periods and relates to RSRL's Harwell and Winfrith sites.

This framework continues a long association between Grontmij and Research Sites Restoration Limited (formerly UKAEA) as far back as 1998 in providing technical expert knowledge in both engineered systems and safety case support in support of RSRL’s nuclear decommissioning programme.

Grontmij has been continuously supporting the UK nuclear industry since 1998 and also more recently Lithuania through a number of contracts with UKAEA, RSRL, Scott Wilson, Imperial College and the NDA. Work in this area of expertise has been further strengthened through Grontmij Sweden in support of the Swedish nuclear power and Grontmij’s other offices throughout Europe.
