Improving internal governance
Grontmij is working with Severn Trent Water’s Asset Delivery Team to develop internal reporting processes to track actual expenditure against forecast for the AMP4 capital delivery programme.
The introduction of the performance monitoring tools has led to improved internal governance at both the project and programme level by allowing greater visibility and transparency of expenditure and improved efficiency and automation of the sewage non-infrastructure expenditure reporting.
Delivery manager performance is tracked on a month by month basis against agreed targets. The project will also consider the integration of the reporting tools with the introduction of new business systems (SAP).
