Tolling has long been used as a method for collecting revenue to pay for new transport infrastructure. More recently road user charging schemes have also been implemented as a congestion management tool, with the benefit of raising revenue for public transport.
At Grontmij, we have expertise in the latest interoperable free flow road user charging systems as well as having a good understanding of traditional manual and semi-automatic toll collection methods. This expertise has been applied to projects worldwide.
