Grontmij has a diverse range of experience in the assessment and design of airfield pavements to UK and international Standards.

Grontmij has worked with RAF Lossiemouth to assess the load carrying capacity of a taxiway and delivered reports in accordance with Defence Estates DGM-27 (Airfield Pavement Design and Evaluation). Grontmij has assessed the surface condition of the runway and designed works which included the use of rejuvenating compounds to extend the serviceable life, then assessed and reported the performance.
