To ensure a high quality delivery to our clients’ customers, we advise and support clients on all functional aspects of water asset design.
We work with our clients and partners at project, programme or framework level in the delivery of programmes of asset design work.
Infrastructure
Grontmij offers services in all fields of water and sewerage network assessment, design and rehabilitation including data acquisition, asset management and network modelling.
Our preferred methodology is to adopt a holistic approach to ensure the most appropriate network solution, to manage third party issues effectively, to address environmental considerations in a timely fashion and to produce a value engineered solution to reduce project risk and minimise disruption to our client’s customers.
Non-Infrastructure
Grontmij provides multidisciplinary design capabilities for water and wastewater treatment plants (including biosolids treatment) and associated assets working in alliances, partnering arrangements or on a project by project basis to provide ‘best in class capability’ in areas spanning engineering, technology and process design.
Structural, geotechnical and hydraulic design is undertaken in-house and Grontmij also has a team of process specialists experienced in water, wastewater, sludge and industrial waste treatment including operational aspects and commissioning.
Grontmij BV Treatment Technology, a Group company, owns the licence to a number of patent treatment technologies, such as the SHARON process for the biological removal of nutrients from high-strength liquors.
Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation,Control and Automation (MEICA)
Grontmij has a specific MEICA capability operating both as an integrated and as a standalone service. We provide outline and detailed designs and specify, test and commission complex process systems with the provision of long term operational support. Our services include:
