As part of Anglian Water’s @one Alliance, Grontmij is working to remove 981 properties from the flooding register (DG5) during AMP4.

A risk and value approach has been adopted to ensure that cost effective solutions are identified for each problem area. During the initial design and enabling phases, meetings are held with key stakeholders to ensure a team acceptance of any proposed works. In addition to Alliance members, these stakeholders include client, asset planning and operational contacts from within Anglian Water.

Contribution to all project phases

We have contributed to all phases of project delivery; during feasibility stages we ensure that the flooding mechanism is fully understood, develop outline solutions and prepare documentation for the risk and value meetings. Detailed designs are then produced for the approved solutions.

Involvement continues within the construction phase, where Grontmij is proactive in dealings with the construction team in order to ensure that any ongoing issues are resolved.
