Grontmij was appointed to manage Scottish Water’s DSEAR Legal Compliance Programme and manage delivery of the associated Capital Investment Programme.
Scottish Water had to ensure legal compliance with the DSEAR Regulations against defined statutory timescales for over 9000 assets across Scotland.

Grontmij was appointed to manage the assessment process and inform the development of the compliance programme while assessing the progress of the risk assessment workstream and the impact on the remedial works programme.
Our experienced MEICA project managers were responsible for assessing suitability of the proposed remedial works, defining scopes, determining project costs and driving delivery of the programme with Scottish Water’s small value capital works contractors and other associated delivery partners. We were also responsible for delivering a detailed compliance commentary to Scottish Water’s programme sponsor for discussion with the Health and Safety Executive.
